That vibe led us to a light-soaked studio in Mexico City’s Roma Sur, where Fernando Mares was coaxing cosmic chords from a vintage synth while sipping café de olla.

Midnight Generation kicked off in 2015, hopping the Roma-Condesa bar circuit with bass lines blessed by Nile Rodgers-style groove. Fast-forward: countless gigs, three LPs, and now their **fourth record, **Tender Love. The single “Don’t Wait Up” is already sliding into dance floors and algorithmic rabbit holes alike. Fer’s grin says it all:
“We’re super happy—the track has taken on a lot of relevance lately.”
It's the hit that took them where they are now.
Cooking up a late-night anthem

Sometimes they flip the script: craft an instrumental from scratch, then let words fall from the cielo. Rule #1: if it doesn’t make you move, rewrite it.
Travel, enjoy, repeat
Ask Fer what fuels him and he answers with the simplest map:
“Travel, disfrutar la vida, and do what you’re passionate about.”
